Cat is part of the NextCard content creation team and just has a few cards, but they're all heavy hitters. He's based in Atlanta and consequently has less options than the usual person when it comes to travel (it's a Delta hub, after all).

Cat's favorite cards are:

  • Amex Platinum – provides access to the awesome Amex Centurion lounge there + gives complimentary access to Delta SkyClubs
  • Amex Gold – has awesome earn rates in categories like dining & US Supermarkets (terms apply)
  • Amex Blue Business Plus – no annual fee card that earns 2x on all purchases (on up to $50k in purchase severy year)

Cat uses his influx of American Express points for a lot of Delta redemptions (where he can find reasonable value, that is).

Cat's total annual fees

Around $1,500, but gets significantly more value than that invesment!
