Note: do not use the Clover app; you must use the restaurant Clover website page for Paze checkout to appear.
Finish adding items to your cart and then proceed to checkout
At checkout, you should see the Paze option at the end
Gift-Card Availability at Clover Merchants
As of ~June 26, 2026, it is no longer possible to pay with Paze when purchasing gift cards via the restaurant’s Clover page.
There are a small handful of restaurants where you can purchase gift cards manually, but it requires verification with the restaurant directly.
For example, Bordeaux Steakhouse in Brooklyn New York has a “Paze gift card” under “Paze Promotion” in their shop. Super interesting!

How does Paze work at Clover restaurants & merchants?
Paze is a digital wallet backed by major U.S. banks like Chase, Capital One, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo. At Clover restaurants with online ordering, users can choose Paze at checkout, authenticate, and pay without entering their full card number. No app download is required.
Is Paze still working at Clover restaurants?
Yes, as of August 01, 2026, Paze still works for food and drink orders at participating Clover merchants, although availability and checkout reliability vary by merchant. Standard Clover gift-card checkout no longer supports Paze.
Which credit cards earn bonus rewards when paying with Paze at Clover restaurants?
Personal Chase Ultimate Rewards cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Freedom Flex, and Freedom Unlimited, earn a 10x bonus on Paze purchases, in addition to normal category rewards. The bonus is capped at $1,500 in Paze purchases per month per eligible card, or up to 15,000 bonus points monthly.
What is the Paze $10 back promotional offer and how many times can I use it?
Between June 15, 2026 and September 10, 2026, each time you spend $10 or more using Paze® in a single transaction at a participating merchant, you’ll receive a $10 statement credit. That means up to $100 back per card. Each transaction must be at least $10.
This is not unique to Chase cards and is eligible for any card you can use for Paze checkout. Even debit cards work for this promotion.
Can I stack Paze with Bilt Neighborhood Dining, Rakuten Dining, or other rewards programs?
Yes. About 233 Clover restaurants also participate in Bilt Neighborhood Dining, allowing users to earn Bilt Points in addition to Paze statement credits and card rewards. The “Stack With” filter on the nextcard Paze Clover map helps find overlapping restaurants.
