Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ vs The Business Platinum Card® from American Express

TLDR: There’s a Chase Offer for the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card where you can get a WHOOP membership for a huge discount.

The WHOOP promotion is a partnership with Chase that appears in your Chase offers on the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Preferred cards. With the Chase Sapphire Reserve, you will get $359 back for a WHOOP Life annual membership (which costs $359 before tax). For the Preferred, you will get $100 back for any WHOOP annual membership after you spend $149 or more on a WHOOP membership.
The Chase offer expires on May 12, 2026 so make sure you add the offer to your Reserve or Preferred before then. My suggestion is to buy a WHOOP membership sooner rather than later because there’s the chance that Chase pulls the offer from their site.

Yes, 10000%. If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you’ll receive $359 cash back for a WHOOP Life annual membership (which costs $359 before tax).
It essentially means that you will get a 12 month WHOOP Life membership for free before taxes. The Life membership is WHOOP’s most premium membership.
So you will receive everything included in a One and Peak annual membership along with exclusive benefits on the Life membership. Here are the exclusive additional benefits:
The Premium Life membership is pretty all-inclusive health tracking membership that you can get for less than $20-$40 depending on what you would pay in taxes on the purchase.
I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and as soon as I saw the Instagram post from Chase about the WHOOP promotion, I headed straight to checkout on WHOOP. My purchase of the WHOOP annual Life membership came out to be $381.44.
After I get $359 back as a statement credit, that means I’m only paying $22.44 for the Life membership! I’ve never used WHOOP before but I enjoy somewhat similar benefits for health tracking with my Oura Ring. I’ve always wanted an Apple Watch to complement my Oura Ring because I have heard from friends and research online that the Apple Watch is better for workout tracking than the Oura Ring. However, I never actually bought an Apple Watch because I didn’t want to shell out the cash for it.
With the WHOOP promotion on the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, I figured it was the perfect time to buy a watch that could do high level health tracking since I can get it for such a low price. If I don’t like it enough to renew my annual membership after 12 months free, I’ll just get rid of the watch and the membership and stick with my Oura Ring.
It’s harder to say whether it’s worth it or not to buy a WHOOP membership with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. With the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, you will receive $100 cash back for any WHOOP annual membership after you spend $149 or more on a WHOOP membership.
You’ll get the most value out of this when you buy the One annual membership at $149. That means you would just be paying $49 before taxes.
My take is that getting a WHOOP membership with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is only worth it if you were already strongly considering getting the membership. You’ll still have to pay a decent amount of money with the lowest tier membership and will only get pricier if you pick a more premium membership.
I have never really seen a Chase offer like the one with WHOOP. It’s incredible value for Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders and decent value for Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card cardholders. For folks who are health conscious or would like to pay more attention to their health, it’s fantastic. And even if you have no interest in a WHOOP membership, you can gift it to a friend! I would make sure to act fast on this offer if you are interested because there is always the chance that Chase pulls the offer from their site.
