Indianapolis actually has a few options for using the Chase Sapphire Reserve® $300 annual dining credit, but the official OpenTable Exclusive Tables page makes it surprisingly difficult to find them.

As of November 2026, three Indianapolis-area restaurants are part of the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program: St. Elmo Steak House, Beholder, and Apicio Ristorante in nearby Zionsville.

      TL;DR

      • Indianapolis has three eligible Sapphire Reserve dining credit restaurants: St. Elmo Steak House, Beholder, and Apicio.

      • Indianapolis doesn't appear in OpenTable's Exclusive Tables city directory, so it’s very hard to find these restaurants from a first glance

      • The MealMaxxer lists all participating CSR dining restaurants, including these hidden ones

What's New for Indianapolis Sapphire Reserve Dining?

If you go to the OpenTable Exclusive Tables directory, Indianapolis does not seem to appear as an option.

However, if you look at individual restaurant listings, you’ll actually find several participating establishments. For example, take a look at Apicio:

      Screenshot 2026 11 06 at 1.37.26 PM

As an example, you can see that Apicio comes up when you search for it directly on OpenTable. But it’s impossible to figure out if the restaurant is on the list via the city directory.

So how can you find restaurants like the ones in Indianapolis?

nextcard’s MealMaxxer map is the only way to (easily) find these restaurants. We track all the restaurants that qualify for the CSR dining credit, including the ones that do not appear on the OpenTable directory for CSR restaurants.

There is a similar issue with restaurants in Salt Lake City and a few other locations across the US. You can find all of them on MealMaxxer as well.

Complete List of Indianapolis Sapphire Reserve Restaurants (Nov 2026)

As of November 2026, Indianapolis has three restaurants where Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can use their $300 annual dining credit.

These restaurants are spread across downtown Indianapolis, the East 10th Street corridor, and nearby Zionsville. Each offers a different dining experience, from traditional steakhouses to contemporary American cuisine and authentic Italian food.

      St. Elmo Steak House

Located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, St. Elmo Steak House is one of the city's most iconic restaurants. Established in 1902, the restaurant has built a reputation for its premium steaks, classic American steakhouse atmosphere, and famous shrimp cocktail.

St. Elmo is on the more expensive end averaging around $70 per person, making a dinner for two right around the $150 credit amount.

      Beholder

Beholder offers a more modern and experimental dining experience in Indianapolis. Located along East 10th Street, the restaurant is known for its creative approach to contemporary American cuisine and frequently changing seasonal menu.

Sapphire Reserve cardholders who enjoy tasting menus, creative dishes, and chef-driven restaurants may find Beholder one of the most interesting places to redeem their dining credit.

Beholder is estimated to cost around $50 per person when eating out so you might have some credit left over for another night out.

      Apicio Ristorante & Enoteca

Located in nearby Zionsville, Apicio Ristorante & Enoteca brings traditional Italian cuisine to the Indianapolis-area Sapphire Reserve restaurant lineup.

The restaurant focuses on fresh pasta, classic Italian recipes, and a carefully selected wine program. Its menu includes familiar Italian favorites alongside more refined dishes, making it a good option for both casual dinners and special occasions.

Apicio is the most expensive spot out of these three restaurants with the average spend at $80 per person.

Although Apicio is technically outside Indianapolis, it is included in the broader Indianapolis-area Sapphire Reserve dining options.

How to Use Your Chase Sapphire Reserve Dining Credit in Indianapolis

The strategy is straightforward: visit any of the three participating Indianapolis-area restaurants, enjoy your meal, and pay directly with your Chase Sapphire Reserve. YOU DO NOT NEED A RESERVATION. You only need to use your Reserve when paying the bill.

You can use MealMaxxer to find participating restaurants in Indianapolis and other cities, then verify their eligibility on OpenTable before visiting.

Chase requires qualifying purchases to be identifiable as transactions made directly with participating restaurants. Purchases through third-party services (such as Uber Eats) or certain payment processors may not qualify. Gift cards and merchandise may also be excluded.

You also don't need to secure one of the special Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables reservations to receive the statement credit. The exclusive OpenTable reservation inventory and the dining statement credit are separate benefits.

For additional details, check the official Chase Sapphire dining credit terms or nextcard's Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables guide.

Final Thoughts on Indianapolis Sapphire Reserve Dining

Indianapolis has three worthwhile Sapphire Reserve dining credit options, with St. Elmo offering a classic steakhouse experience, Beholder focusing on creative dining, and Apicio providing an Italian option in Zionsville.

The main challenge is finding and confirming eligible restaurants, especially when OpenTable's city directory doesn't display them consistently. Before your next dinner, check Mealmaxxer, confirm participation, and use your remaining semiannual credit before it expires.
