That triples the original potential annual discount from up to $40 to up to $120.
There is one big limitation: the new $10 nonrestaurant credit frequency depends on when you first activated DashPass using this card.
TL;DR
Cobrand Chase cardholders who activate DashPass for the first time from September 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, receive one $10 non-restaurant discount per calendar month (up to $120/year)
If you activated DashPass using your cobrand Chase card from February 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026, you’ll only get one $10 discount per calendar quarter (up to $40/year)
The monthly offer provides up to $120 across 12 months, compared with $40 across four quarters.
You must stay enrolled in DashPass and pay with the eligible Chase card used to activate the benefit
Your DashPass activation date determines the $10 nonrestaurant promo frequency
Chase’s co-branded DoorDash terms divide cardholders into two groups:
DashPass activation date (with cobrand Chase card) | Non-restaurant discount | Maximum across a full year |
|---|---|---|
First-time activation September 1, 2026–December 31, 2027 | One $10 discount per calendar month | $120 |
Activation February 1, 2025–August 31, 2026 | One $10 discount per calendar quarter | $40 |
These dates refer to activating DashPass, not opening your credit card. An older eligible card can therefore qualify for the monthly offer if its DashPass activation meets the first-time requirement.
For instance, I got my World of Hyatt card in 2023. However, I never had a reason to activate it since I had a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or a Chase Sapphire Reserve® on my DoorDash account. To test, this, I made a separate DoorDash account and added this Hyatt card as my payment method.
Lo and behold, monthly $10 DoorDash nonrestaurant promos!
Unfortunately, if you activated your complimentary DashPass earlier (prior to September 1, 2026) with an eligible co-brand Chase card, you’re stuck with quarterly $10 non-restaurant credits :(
Which Chase cards qualify for the quarterly or monthly $10 DoorDash promos?
DoorDash’s Chase FAQ implies that all Chase cobranded credit cards are eligible for the credit, with three listed exclusions: the Amazon Rewards Visa Card, Instacart Mastercard and DoorDash Rewards Mastercard.
Eligible families should include Chase-issued United, Southwest, Marriott Bonvoy, IHG and World of Hyatt cards, along with Disney, British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus cards (this is a non-exhaustive list).
We did some testing with our own cards and found that they worked to trigger the $10 monthly promo (since we never activated DashPass on them originally):
Chase Cobrand Card | When Card Was Opened | Annual Fee | Eligible for Monthly $10 DoorDash Promo? |
|---|---|---|---|
Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card | 2023 | $95 | Yes |
World of Hyatt Credit Card | 2024 | $95 | Yes |
2026 | $150 | Yes | |
Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card | Product changed in 2026 | $0 | Yes |
The Brand New IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card | 2026 | $350 | Yes |
Earlier activations stay quarterly
If you activated DashPass between February 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, your benefit remains $10 per quarter under the current terms.
As far as we know, thee is no clear way to suddenly transition your previously activated Chase co-brand card to monthly eligibility; the language specifically requires a first-time activation.
Open Manage DashPass (in your settings) to check your activation date and confirm the discount assigned to your account before planning around $10 each month.
Yes, the screenshot above shows the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card. The idea remains the same :)
How to use the $10 DoorDash non-restaurant promo/credit/discount
The promotion applies to qualifying non-restaurant orders, including eligible grocery, convenience and retail purchases. It is a discount at DoorDash checkout, rather than a statement credit that posts to your Chase account. As the name implies, you can’t use this on restaurant orders.
Use nextcard’s DoorDash Chase credit map to find eligible US merchants (over 180,000). Our Chase DoorDash credit guide explains the checkout process:
Add your eligible Chase card directly to DoorDash and activate its DashPass offer
Choose a qualifying “non-restaurant”
Add items to your cart for checkout
Apply the Chase promotion at checkout and pay with the card used to enroll in DashPass
Confirm the discount before placing the order
The discount reduces the eligible subtotal. Taxes, fees and tips remain payable, and gift card purchases are excluded. Any unused portion of a redeemed discount is forfeited; an $8 eligible subtotal does not leave you $2 to spend later.
Unused discounts expire at the end of the applicable calendar month or quarter (they do not roll over).
Additionally, only 1 DashPass subscription can be tied to an individual DoorDash account at one time; therefore, only 1 set of promos can be associated with an account.
Factor in the DashPass renewal
Just a reminder: you need a DashPass membership to use the monthly nonrestaurant promos.
Eligible cobranded Chase cards provide 12 complimentary months of DashPass with qualifying activation by December 31, 2027. Afterward, the membership automatically renews at the then-current monthly rate unless canceled. DoorDash currently lists that rate as $9.99.
At that price, paying for DashPass solely to use a $10 monthly discount leaves almost no savings from the promotion itself. The renewal makes more sense if you also use the membership’s other benefits.
During the complimentary period, the monthly offer is incredibly powerful.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether my Chase DoorDash discount is monthly or quarterly?
Qualifying first-time DashPass activations from September 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, receive $10 monthly. Activations from February 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026, remain quarterly. Check Manage DashPass for your activation date and assigned benefit.
Can I cancel and reactivate DashPass to change my quarterly discount to monthly?
Don’t count on it. The monthly offer requires a qualifying first-time activation. Canceling and restarting a previously activated benefit does not establish eligibility under that requirement.
Do Chase Freedom cards get this $10 non-restaurant credit monthly?
No. Chase’s Freedom DoorDash terms continue to provide one $10 non-restaurant discount per calendar quarter. The activation-date change covered here applies solely to eligible cobranded Chase cards.
Can I use the monthly discount for restaurant orders?
No. This $10 promotion is for qualifying non-restaurant DoorDash orders. That’s why it’s a bit trickier to use compared to the normal coupon.
Do unused discounts or leftover amounts roll over?
No. Monthly discounts expire at month-end; quarterly discounts expire at quarter-end. If you redeem a $10 discount against an $8 eligible subtotal, the remaining $2 is forfeited.
