Starting October 1, 2026, Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardmembers will receive a new $15 monthly promotion that can be used across eligible DoorDash orders, including restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, and other merchants. It replaces the card’s existing $5 monthly dining promotion and joins two separate $10 monthly promotions for non-restaurant orders. Yay, a buff!
Altogether, Sapphire Reserve cardmembers can receive up to $35 in DoorDash promotions each month, plus complimentary DashPass.
TL;DR
The new $15 monthly DoorDash promotion begins October 1, 2026.
It replaces the Sapphire Reserve’s existing $5 monthly dining promotion.
Unlike the two $10 non-restaurant offers, the $15 promotion can be used across eligible DoorDash order categories.
Cardmembers will continue to receive two separate $10 monthly non-restaurant promotions.
The three offers provide up to $35 per month or $420 per year, plus complimentary DashPass.
What Is Changing With the Sapphire Reserve DoorDash Benefit?
Chase Sapphire Reserve currently provides a $5 monthly promotion for an eligible DoorDash restaurant order. On October 1, that offer will be replaced by a new $15 monthly promotion.
This is an upgrade to the existing dining benefit, not a fourth monthly DoorDash offer. It increases the card’s maximum recurring DoorDash promotions from up to $25 to up to $35 per month.
Additionally, the new $15 offer can be used across eligible DoorDash categories. That includes restaurant, grocery, retail, and other qualifying orders; it is not limited to just restaurant orders. However, “all eligible DoorDash orders” does not necessarily mean every merchant or order will qualify.
Minimum subtotals and other restrictions may still apply. Chase’s current DoorDash benefit terms still describe the outgoing $5 restaurant offer (as of Sep 01, 2026).
Complete Chase Sapphire Reserve DoorDash Benefits
Beginning October 1, the card’s DoorDash package looks a little different (in a good way):
Benefit | Frequency | Potential value | Eligible orders |
|---|---|---|---|
New DoorDash promotion | Once per month | Up to $15 | Eligible restaurant, grocery, retail, and other DoorDash orders |
Non-restaurant promotion | Twice per month | Up to $10 per order | Grocery, convenience, retail, flowers, and other eligible non-restaurant orders |
Complimentary DashPass | Ongoing after activation, subject to terms | $120 annual value | Eligible DoorDash and Caviar orders |
The three promotions provide up to $35 per month or $420 per year. Adding the stated $120 annual value of DashPass brings the advertised potential value to as much as $540 per year.
The two $10 promotions also require separate orders and cannot be combined into one $20 discount. TBH that’s probably the harder credit to use…
Our Chase DoorDash credit guide explains the existing $10 non-restaurant promos, while the DoorDash Chase credit map helps cardmembers find eligible grocery, retail, convenience, and other non-restaurant merchants.
Where Can You Use the new $15 DoorDash Promotion?
Something cool is that the $15 promotion is not limited to just dining; it can be used on any eligible DoorDash order. This makes it much more flexible than both the outgoing $5 dining promotion and the two $10 non-restaurant offers.
The word “eligible” remains important. Since the credit isn’t out yet, we’ll have to see if gift card purchases qualify.
We also do not know if there’s a minimum fee just yet to use the credit… that will be another interesting discovery come October. For instance, I could get tremendous value out of using this for monthly pickup orders, but I’m not sure if I can do that just yet.
Is the Updated DoorDash Benefit Worth It?
Realistically, this is a win for Sapphire Reserve cardholders.
The $5 DoorDash restaurant promo is nice, but small. It barely makes a meaningful dent in food these days.
For someone like me who lives in the city, I will get a lot of benefit out of the $15 credit, since I will be able to easily use it for (in theory) restaurant pickup and delivery orders.
As with the other credits covered in our Chase Sapphire Reserve benefits guide, the benefit is most valuable when it offsets purchases a cardmember would have made anyway.
Frequently Asked Questions
When does the new $15 DoorDash credit come??
The new Chase Sapphire Reserve® DoorDash arrives October 1, 2026 and will replace the old $5/mo dining credit.
Does the $15 promotion replace the existing $5 dining benefit?
Yes. The $15 monthly promotion replaces the Sapphire Reserve’s current $5 monthly dining promotion. It is not an additional fourth offer.
Can the $15 promotion be used on restaurant orders?
Yes. The promotion can be used across eligible DoorDash order categories, including restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, and other merchants. That does not guarantee that every merchant or order will qualify.
How much does the Sapphire Reserve offer through DoorDash each month?
Beginning October 1, cardmembers can receive up to $35 in monthly promotions: one $15 promotion and two separate $10 non-restaurant promotions.
Is the $15 DoorDash benefit a statement credit?
No. It is a promotion selected during DoorDash checkout, not a statement credit that posts to the Sapphire Reserve account afterward.
Can the two $10 DoorDash promotions be combined?
No. Each $10 non-restaurant promotion must be used on a separate eligible order.
Do unused Chase DoorDash promotions roll over?
No. The existing offers expire at the end of the applicable calendar month. Cardmembers should expect to use the $15 promotion during the month it is issued unless the new terms state otherwise.
Is this new $15 credit coming for the Sapphire Reserve for Business?
Unconfirmed atm. Looking to find out for Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ cardholders.
