Capital One is running a promotion for Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card cardholders where they get exclusive access to FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets starting on February 12 at 12pm ET. Chase ran a similar promotion where they had World Cup tickets for Chase Sapphire cardholders, but this one is much more exclusive because you can only get World Cup tickets with one card—the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card card.
The World Cup is extremely popular, so now might be the time to strike while the iron's hot if you have the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card card.
In order to get World Cup tickets with the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, you’ll need to be an active, good standing cardholder. You need to then go to this third party promotion page for the World Cup tickets.
After arriving at the promotion page you will click on the box that says “Access Tickets” and enter your card number to verify your eligibility. Once verified, you'll be redirected to a dedicated FIFA.com ticketing platform page for Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card Visa cardholders to purchase tickets. If you make it to the ticketing platform page, just remember that a maximum of 4 tickets can be purchased for each Venture X cardholder.
The exclusive ticket sales for the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card last from February 12 (at 12 PM ET) through February 24th. However, I would bet that these tickets will sell out in a few hours based on the Chase Sapphire ticket demand. So if you are hoping to get tickets, you should sign on to the promotion page around 11:50 AM ET and get ready to click the “Access Tickets” button as soon as the clock strikes 12 PM ET.
Unfortunately, if you have any other Capital One card, you won't be eligible for this World Cup ticket sale promotion. It might be a good idea to text or call a friend or family member to see if they have a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card card.
Earlier this week, Chase had a similar promotion where Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ cardholders could buy Fifa World Cup tickets. Unfortunately, the promotion was all over the place. There were bots that had access to tickets because you only needed the first six numbers of any Chase Sapphire card to enter the site. No CVV or expiration date required. Of course the tickets were in high demand and you might not have had a chance anyways but it’s frustrating that bots were getting tickets.
I was at work and forgot to sign in to get tickets early so I logged on to the site at 12:06 PM ET. I sat in the queue for about 15 minutes and then got booted. This happened to me 3-4 more times over the course of an hour. And then I saw that tickets were sold out.
Hopefully, I’ll have another chance at World Cup tickets (I don’t have a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card). I’m 0 for 2 right now because of the Chase experience and I wasn’t lucky enough to get tickets from Fifa’s official random selection draw.
If you are a soccer fan and have a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card card, it’s well worth exploring the exclusive World Cup ticket opportunity that Capital One is offering. My dad has a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card so I will be trying to convince him to buy tickets for all of us to go as a family. If you are unable to get tickets with this promotion, I’m sure there will be other opportunities to buy world cup tickets. My only concern is that prices will just keep going up…
If you have a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, will you be looking into this cool new promotion?
