This article is only relevant if you preordered your Bilt Palladium Card and received it on launch day February 07, 2026.

Yay! The wait is finally over.

My Bilt Palladium Card is finally activated and its time to get busy with taking advantage of this card's structure and bonus earnings. There's a lot of stuff to look into, but I've spent some time just outlining everything you need to do.

In a nutshell:

  • Targeted spending promotions for the first few days
  • Activate Priority Pass
  • Look into the hotel credit
  • Spend towards the welcome bonus
  • Set up Bilt Rewards to earn bonus points on eligible purchases like Lyft Rideshare
  • Strategize your Bilt Cash usage

What spending promotions should I check with my Palladium today?

There are potentially two major spending promotions (targeted) for folks who preordered their Palladiums:

  • Mobile Wallet Promotion: Once the transition is complete, you can begin using your Bilt Palladium Card with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Wallet, and other mobile wallets on February 07, 2026 To kick start your new rewards, you'll earn an additional 3X on mobile wallet purchases through February 10, 2026 (up to 500 Bilt Points).
  • TPG Offer: Earn 5x Bilt Points on eligible purchases for 5 days (Feb 7–12, 2026) after applying through a qualifying link (up to 50,000 bonus points total, excluding rent and certain transactions)

The best way to see if you're eligible for either of these promotional offers is by checking your email. I was only eligible for the Mobile Wallet one; sad that I'm not getting the awesome TPG deal...

Note that both of these spending promotions have very specific timelines with them. If you don't use them on time, you won't get the extra points.

What do I need to activate with the Palladium card?

You need to activate your Palladium's Priority Pass in order to use it. It will not be usable until it is properly configured. From the Guide to Benefits:

Before traveling, eligible cardholders need to activate their membership using their Bilt Palladium Card at the www.PriorityPass.com website. Once activated, cardholders can log on their Priority Pass account at www.PriorityPass.com and view a list of participating lounges and experiences.

Does the hotel credit need to be activated?

Unlike some Amex or Chase cards, you do not need to activate any of the hotel credits or benefits to receive them. So that makes life relatively easy on that front.

As a reminder, the only "credit" on the Palladium is the $400 hotel credit (up to $200 semiannually).

What should I note about the hotel credit?

The important thing is that the hotel credits are on a semiannual basis. Since we get the card on February 07, we only have ~5 months before the end of the first half of the year.

Here's how the up to $400 hotel credit is split up:

  • January 01 – June 30: Up to $200
  • July 01 – Dec 31: Up to $200

Best to start looking into this a bit earlier rather than later, given our timeframe for the first set of the Palladium's credit is a bit shorter than I'd like. This credit does not roll over; it is use or lose it.

What is the welcome bonus?

Since preorders all launched on February 07, 2026, the timeline for the bonus is actually very well defined at this moment:

Welcome bonus (subject to approval): 50,000 Bilt Points + Gold Status after spending $4,000 on everyday purchases in the first 3 months + $300 of Bilt Cash.

So, based on 3 months, the deadline is roughly May 6-8, depending on how Bilt defines a "3 month" period (90 days or 3 months).

What should I set up with Bilt Rewards?

It's in your best interest to make sure your Bilt Rewards is all set up properly so that you can earn additional points on various eligible purchases.

Linking your Bilt Wallet

Making sure the right cards are linked with Bilt Wallet is crucial.

Follow these instructions:

  1. Click on the link above, which will lead you to Bilt's login (optional affiliate link that helps support us!)
  2. Once you login, you should be immediately dropped into the Bilt Wallet page
  3. Verify your Bilt Palladium is there
  4. Click "add card" to add other relevant cards to earn bonus Bilt Points at eligible restaurants, fitness studios, Walgreens, and more

Remember: you will not earn additional Bilt Points for eligible neighborhood dining purchases unless you pay with a linked card.

Linking your Lyft account

With a Bilt Rewards account, you can earn an additional 2x Bilt Points per dollar spent on Lyft rideshare if your Lyft/Bilt accounts are linked + you select Bilt your Lyft partner.

To do this, first get started by navigating to the Bilt Neighborhood page:

Once you're at this page, go to the "Rideshare" part of the options:

What should I do about my Palladium's Bilt Cash?

Starting today Feb 07, there are two Bilt Cash "deposits" made into your account:

  • $300 Bilt Cash from the welcome bonus
  • $200 Bilt Cash (awarded annually)

Given you get $500 of Bilt Cash right away, there's a lot of things you can do with it. But, just to be clear, there's a clear mathematical hierarchy in terms of what the best redemptions are. From highest to lowest (฿ used for Bilt Cash symbol):

  1. Bilt Cash credit redemptions: ฿1 = $1
  2. Rent redemption to Bilt Points: ฿1 = 0.33 bilt points
  3. Points Accelerator: ฿1 = 0.25 bilt points

For example, you should realistically never use Points Accelerator until you've redeemed Bilt Cash for the others.

Use it for monthly Bilt Cash redemptions

Bilt announced the various ways to use Bilt Cash on Jan 21, 2026 and one of the biggest things to note is that there are a lot of monthly/yearly restrictions in play. That is to say, for instance, you can't just use infinite Bilt Cash for Lyft rides.

If you have any legitimate Bilt Cash credit redemptions in mind, I think it makes a lot of sense to start using them in the first month you can. Especially noting that the Bilt Cash you earn in 2026 expires in the calendar year they're earned (except for ฿100 of Bilt Cash that rollsover).

For instance, I will immediately be using my Bilt Cash for Lyft (up to $10/month). I also like to order GrubHub from this cafe, so I'll likely use it there as well (up to $10/month). I also need to use my Palladium hotel credit for H1 2026, so I'm going to see if I can stack it with the Bilt Cash hotel redemption—if that works, then this would be an awesome redemption.

However, outside of this, I don't have immediate plans. Of my immediate ฿500 Bilt Cash coming in on Feb 07, that would use about ฿120 of it. So, that leaves ฿380.

Then, redeem against your rent/mortgage

Redeeming Bilt Cash against your rent/mortgage gives you more value than points accelerator.

In my case, my $3,000 rent requires me to use just ฿90 Bilt Cash to earn 3,000 Bilt Points. In my case, this leaves a good amount of Bilt Cash leftover (฿310), which leads us to the Points Accelerator discussion.

Should you redeem your excess Bilt Cash for Points Accelerator in Feb 2026?

It's not necessarily a very easy answer; a bit of a complex one to be honest.

It depends on:

  • How much Bilt Cash you expect to accrue every month
  • How much Bilt Cash you expect to use every month

For me, I plan to spend about $1,600 on the Palladium per month, meaning I should get about ฿64 Bilt Cash per month.

But, my Bilt Cash "uses" are somewhat also predictable per month:

  • ฿10 for Lyfts per month
  • ฿10 for Grubhub per month
  • ฿90 Bilt Cash for my rent per month

So, about ฿110 Bilt Cash used every month.

This means I expect net "burn" about ฿50 Bilt Cash per month. So my leftover ฿310 Bilt Cash will only hold me until 6 months from now. This means I should not use anything towards Points Accelerator.

If you expect to have a lot of excess Bilt Cash towards the end of the year, then I'd go ahead and activate the accelerator earlier. Accelerator point bonuses end at the end of the calendar year.

Final Thoughts

The Palladium comes with a slew of useful benefits. While there's not too many things you have to enroll in, there is a bit of strategizing to think about, especially if you elect to earn Bilt Cash via Option 2.

However, if you want to keep things simple, I would just use your Bilt Cash for your rent. That requires the absolute least amount of information and things to remember.

FAQs

Is Points Accelerator good value?

No. Amongst the ways you can use your Bilt Cash, Points Accelerator is objectively the worst way you can earn points.

  1. Bilt Cash credit redemptions: ฿1 = $1 (eg lyft, walgreens, dining)
  2. Rent Redemption towards Bilt Points: ฿1 = 0.33 Bilt Points
  3. Points Accelerator: ฿1 = 0.25 Bilt Points
Which restaurants can I redeem Bilt Cash at?

Every month, you can redeem up to $25 Bilt Cash at select Bilt Dining partners. While the list of partners is currently slim, it's supposed to grow into the thousands in the future.

Are all Neighborhood Bilt Restaurants eligible for the up to $25/mo Bilt Cash redemption?

No. Only a small subset of the Neighborhood Bilt Restaurants are eligible.

There are about 20,000 Neighborhood Bilt Dining Partners, but as of February 06, 2026, only ~100 are eligible for the $25/mo redemption.
