The best cash back offer that you can get with this deal is when you use it on the Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards card (especially in its first year). In the first year of having the Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards card, you will earn 6% back in the category of your choice (gas & EV; online shopping; dining; travel; drug stores; home improvement and furnishings). When you add the extra 2% cash back, that’s 8% cash back!

What are some tips for using this benefit?

It’s important to make sure that you actually get the extra 2% cash back on your purchases. What do I mean by that? Well, some merchants won’t mark the transaction for November 6th (the same day) if you ordered online. To play it safe, I would try to make your purchases in-person and for purchases that you know will be posted as November 6th.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to use this benefit if I had welcome bonuses I needed to hit. However, if you are a cash back focused spender and not a big traveler, this is a fantastic promotion. Bank of America offers this promo every year (hopefully it continues in 2026) and it’s an excellent cash back offer.

Bank of America More Rewards day is a unique and intriguing offer. If you love cash back, you should 100% take advantage of this deal. Unfortunately, I do not have a Bank of America credit card. I would otherwise buy something on November 6th. I did however tell my parents about this as they have two Bank of America credit cards.
