Flying Blue October 2025 Deals

It’s the first day of a new month, so you know what that means: It’s time for new promotional deals with Air France’s and KLM’s rewards program: Flying Blue.

If you’re planning to travel to and from Europe anytime within the next few months, you might find it useful to take advantage of these deals, as you can save tens of thousands of points on what you would normally spend for the same route.

On the first day of every month, Flying Blue releases promotional reward tickets for select destinations, allowing you to save up to 25% of your miles when redeeming an award ticket for one of the destinations with a running promotion.

Flying Blue’s promotional deals for October are only available for booking through the month of October, and the deals are valid for select dates and destinations until March 31, 2026.

Additionally, as with all Flying Blue promotional rewards, you can only book a promotional reward ticket if you’re flying to/from Paris or Amsterdam, or you’re connecting through either city to your final destination.

Destination Roster

For October 2025, Flying Blue’s promotional deals span four continents: Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia.

As usual, most of the deals available are short-haul flights between European cities, and long-haul flights between North America and Europe. Additionally, there are a sprinkle of destinations located in Africa and in Asia.

Short-Haul & Medium-Haul Flights

Short-haul and medium-haul flights start at a price of 7,500 miles for Economy, discounted from the regular price of 10,000 miles by 25%. Additionally, there are promotional reward tickets available for Business Class on short-haul and medium-haul flights that start at 18,750 miles, discounted from the regular price of 25,000 miles. These destinations are:

• Economy: Amsterdam (AMS) to Nice (NCE)
• Economy: Amsterdam (AMS) to Lyon (LYS)
• Economy: Amsterdam (AMS) to Southampton (SOU)
• Economy: Amsterdam (AMS) to Venice (VCE)
• Economy: Paris (CDG/ORY) to Toulouse (TLS)
• Economy: Paris (ORY) to Bastia (BIA)
• Economy: Paris (CDG/ORY) to Ajaccio (AJA)
• Economy: Paris (CDG) to Milan (MXP/LIN)
• Economy: Paris (CDG) to Stockholm (ARN)
• Business: Amsterdam (AMS) to Bilbao (BIO)
• Business: Paris (CDG) to Verona (VRN)
• Business: Paris (CDG/ORY) to Casablanca (CMN)
• Business: Amsterdam (AMS) to Tel Aviv (TLV)

While most of these short-haul and medium-haul flights are intra-European, the deals to Casablanca and Tel Aviv allow you to explore Africa and Asia, whilst saving hundreds of dollars and enjoying a medium-haul flight in business class.

Since it’s October and these deals are valid for flights through late March, you might find it perfect if you were looking to travel to Europe during the off-season. For example, you could visit the French Riviera by flying to Nice, and enjoy the pristine beaches without the crowds that you would normally find in the height of summer, such as August. You could also fly to Venice and enjoy a ride on the gondola through the famous Venetian canals.

Long-Haul Flights

While promotional reward tickets for short-haul and medium-haul flights are limited to just intra-European cities, you’ll find much more variety when it comes to long-haul flights. You can find deals when flying between Paris/Amsterdam and select cities in North America, Africa, and Asia.

Additionally, while the promotions available for the short-haul and medium-haul flights are only available in Economy Class, some of the promotions for the long-haul flights are available in Business Class, allowing you to save miles on a premium and relaxing flying experience across thousands of miles.

Connecting flights from the destination within Europe through either Paris or Amsterdam are included in the promotional reward ticket. This means that you’ll be able to take advantage of the promotional reward tickets when flying to various European destinations, you’ll just most likely need to change flights in either Paris or Amsterdam.

With these long-haul destinations, you can easily get to Europe via multiple cities in North America, as well as hit up multiple cities in North America, such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Vancouver, or Miami. Notably, there is one Asian destination on the list of promotional destinations, which is Beijing.

However, compared to last month’s deals, there aren’t many opportunities available for long-haul business class flights. There is only one long-haul business class deal to Cotonou in Benin, and the other business class deals are for medium-haul flights to Casablanca and Tel Aviv.

One of the most valuable aspects of Flying Blue Promo Rewards is its consistency. Travelers can count on new deals launching on the first of each month, making it easy to plan ahead and even hold out for discounts on your preferred routes. Because the program regularly discounts both economy and premium cabins, it appeals to a wide range of travelers, from budget travelers hopping between European cities to business travelers looking for a comfortable long-haul seat without wanting to spend thousands of dollars.

Another key benefit is flexibility. Flying Blue miles are easy to earn, since the program partners with all major transferable point currencies, such as American Express, Chase, Capital One, and Citi.

Do note that award space can be limited, especially for popular long-haul flights in Business Class. If you see an itinerary that works for you, it’s best to book right away, as seats often disappear quickly. Since changes and cancellations may involve a fee, double-check your travel plans before locking in your tickets.

Together, these factors make Flying Blue Promo Rewards one of the best ongoing deals in the world of airline loyalty, particularly if you’re based in or traveling through Europe and want to stretch your points further.

How to Book Promotional Reward Tickets

Flying Blue’s promotional reward tickets are only available via online bookings.

To book a promotional reward ticket, log in to your Flying Blue account via either the Air France website/app or the KLM website/app. Choose your designated origin and destination cities/airports, indicate that you want to book with miles, and see if you can find a flight priced at the promotional fare.

Since Flying Blue’s promotional reward tickets can only be booked online, this means that if you call Flying Blue to have an agent assist you with booking your flights, they won’t have the promotional fare available to book at the discounted price.

This presents some challenges. For example, when using your miles to book flights on Flying Blue, you can include a free stopover of 24 hours or more during a connection between two flights in either Paris or Amsterdam. You would only need to pay for the fare to your final destination, instead of paying separately for a flight from Paris or Amsterdam to your next destination.

I’ve used the complimentary stopover feature before, and I was able to book a complimentary stopover in Paris for 5 days on my itinerary from Boston to Zurich. However, the caveat is that you can only book a complimentary stopover by contacting a Flying Blue agent via phone.

Therefore, if you want to book an itinerary with a complimentary stopover, you won’t have access to promotional reward tickets.

Flying Blue’s Promo Rewards remain one of the most reliable and valuable monthly offers for travelers who collect points and miles. With routes spanning four continents and discounts reaching 25%, you can stretch your transferable points from credit cards further than ever.
