There are now more than 1,500 hotels in The Edit
Of the 1,500+ Edit properties, about 1370 of them are currently bookable.
Roughly 170 properties are also eligible for the separate 2026 $250 Select Hotels credit, which you can stack with the Chase Sapphire Reserve®’s standard Edit credit.
The program continues to expand in the right direction!
A wider range of Points Boost redemptions in October
Chase describes Points Boost as a dynamic selection of limited-time offers that let eligible cardmembers book selected hotels and flights through Chase Travel for fewer points. A little blue rocket icon identifies participating offers, with the boosted points price displayed alongside the base hotel rate.
The biggest change we observed in October is that there are new Points Boost rates. For example:
Edit Hotel | Approximate value per |
|---|---|
The Standard High Line | 1.00¢ (no Points Boost) |
Auberge Saint-Antoine | 1.25¢ |
Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel | 1.50¢ |
The Gleneagles Hotel | 1.60¢ |
The Balmoral Hotel | 1.80¢ |
Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol | 2.00¢ |
Vermelho Melides | 2.50¢ |
*Data collected in Oct 2026 and may have changed. These are not guaranteed Points Boost rates.
From what we observed, the properties are somewhat evenly distributed between the middling Points Boost rates. That said, there’s still plenty of high value redemptions to be found:
Expensive does not mean high Points Boost value
It’s not immediately clear to us how Points Boost rates are determined. For example, take a look at these sampled nightly rates for a one night stay on Nov 10-11, 2026 that each cost over $3,000/night:
Property | Sample room | All-in USD | Points | CPP (Points Boost) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Naviva | Ocean-view Bungalow | $5,813 | 387,520 | 1.50 |
Espacio Waikiki | Ruby Beach View Suite | $3,561 | 284,909 | 1.25 |
Four Seasons Bora Bora | Overwater Beach View King Suite | $3,815 | 305,202 | 1.25 |
Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba | 3-bedroom ground-floor villa | $2,376 | 158,425 | 1.50 |
Interestingly, the Points Boost valuation of the points here is still on the lower end.
The hotels with 2.5 cents per point Points Boost have changed… again
In line with how Points Boost rates can change at any time, Chase has periodically changed the properties eligible for 2.5x Points Boost since announcing the benefit originally. Here’s how the 2.5 CPP properties have changed over the last few months:
April: 11 properties | September: 12 properties | October: 11 properties |
|---|---|---|
Four Seasons Hotel Osaka | 100 Princes Street | Fairmont Empress |
Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe | Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel | Half Moon, Jamaica |
Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa | Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol | InterContinental Malta |
Grand Hyatt Deer Valley | Herdade da Malhadinha Nova | L’And Vineyards |
Hotel du Couvent | Hotel du Couvent | Le Royal Monceau (Raffles Paris) |
InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa | One&Only Kéa Island | Omni Mount Washington Resort |
Nobu Hotel San Sebastián | One&Only Portonovi | Raffles Udaipur |
Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa | Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy | Santa Teresa Hotel Rio de Janeiro (MGallery Collection) |
Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam | Six Senses Douro Valley | Six Senses Con Dao |
The Ritz-Carlton, Portland | The Balmoral Hotel | The Inn at English Harbour |
The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel | The Gleneagles Hotel | Vermelho Melides |
— | Vermelho Melides | — |
We have no idea when these properties come in and out, so just be wary that these 2.5 CPP hotels do change once in a while!
From the current October list of 2.5x Points Boost properties, the cheapest ones are the the L’And Vineyards and Intercontinental Malta.
How does Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts Compare Against The Edit Now?
Traditionally, the American Express Platinum Card® ‘s $300 FHR credit has arguably been easier to use since it doesn’t have a stay minimum. However, there have been rumors that it will transition to a 2 night minimum starting in 2027.
If this happens, Chase’s Edit program is about to have a leg up given Points Boost. Although the Edit credit is still smaller, at up to $250/eligible booking, you can combine Points Boost with the Edit credit. At properties where you’re getting 1.80-2.50 cents per point using Points Boost… that’s pretty awesome.
Compare hotel options with HotelMaxxer
The Edit’s changing Points Boost rates make it worth comparing your hotel options before booking. nextcard’s HotelMaxxer brings Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts, The Hotel Collection, Bilt Home Away From Home, and United Renowned properties together on one map, with listed nightly prices to help you compare properties & their rates.
Chase Edit data is temporarily unavailable in HotelMaxxer. For current Edit properties and Points Boost offers, check Chase Travel directly.
Track your hotel credits with nextcard
nextcard’s credit tracker helps you keep track of what you’ve used and when your credits reset or expire across all your cards, ranging from everything from the Edit & Fine Hotels + Resort credit to the OpenTable & Resy credits. Manual tracking is free, with automatic tracking available on paid plans.
We can also help you track your family member’s credits!
Conclusion
We’re seeing more than 1,500 properties in The Edit, a wider range of Points Boost redemption values and changes to the hotels showing 2.5 cents per point. The program continues to evolve in the right direction and will be more competitive if the Amex FHR rumors turn out to be true.
Frequently asked questions
Can you combine Points Boost with The Edit credit?
Yes. A qualifying prepaid stay of at least two consecutive nights can combine points with an eligible card payment. The statement credit applies to qualifying card charges; bookings paid entirely with points do not qualify.
Can The Edit credit stack with the $250 Select Hotels credit?
Yes, when the reservation meets both benefits’ requirements. The hotel must qualify for both credits, and the prepaid booking must meet the minimum two-night requirement. There’s only about 170 hotels that qualify for both.
Which Edit hotels offer 2.5 cents per point ?
As of October 2026, examples include:
Fairmont Empress
L’And Vineyards
Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris
