Bilt’s October 2026 Rent Day brings two transfer bonuses on Thursday, October 1: up to 200% to Hilton Honors, paired with instant Hilton elite status, and up to 125% to Amtrak Guest Rewards.

Long story short: the Amtrak one is really exciting.

Ok just to be clear: this month has two separate transfer promos:

Hilton Honors: up to 200% more points and instant status

Bilt normally transfers to Hilton at 1:1. On October 1, the bonus increases that ratio based on your Bilt membership status:

Maximum number of bonused points: 100,000

Making a qualifying transfer on October 1 unlocks the corresponding Hilton status through December 31, 2026. You do not need to transfer the full promotional allowance to receive the status benefit.

For Platinum members, this is really good in itself. You can transfer just 1,000 points and then get Hilton Diamond status through the end of the year (plus the 175% bonuses 2750 Hilton Points).

There is also a stay challenge to extend or upgrade the status:

The qualifying-night requirement must be completed within 90 days and no later than December 31, 2026.

Amtrak Guest Rewards: up to 125% more points

I’m personally excited about this one.

Amtrak is Bilt’s newest transfer partner and its first rail partner. Its normal transfer ratio is 2 Bilt points to 1 Amtrak point, so the October bonus applies to a smaller starting balance than Hilton’s.

Maximum number of bonused points: 100,000

Platinum members get an effective 1:1 ratio without a buy-up. That in itself, is already insanely good. Since Amtrak points are worth 2.6 cents each and Amtrak redemptions are normally pretty flat, you’d be able to get 2.6 cents on each Bilt Point (that’s really good).

Are the Bilt Cash upgrades worth it?

Bilt Cash can unlock the next higher transfer-bonus tier, with an additional tier available to Platinum members. October’s buy-up prices are:

• $200 in Bilt Cash for Hilton and

• $400 in Bilt Cash for Amtrak.

I personally am not super excited about using the Bilt Cash upgrades this month. The $400 Amtrak buy-up is hard to justify unless you have excess Bilt Cash and few other useful ways to redeem it before it expires.

Double points on October 1

Bilt Cardholders also earn accelerated points on eligible everyday purchases on October 1, excluding housing and tax payments:

• Palladium earns 4X on everyday spending.

The Rent Day benefit is capped at 1,000 additional points. That is a cap on the extra points from doubling, rather than all points earned that day.
