Bilt is launching Daily Rewards on January 15, 2027, giving Bilt Rewards members a new method to earn rewards. For members who don’t have a Bilt Card, Daily Rewards will replace the up to 250 points that Bilt members earn for making monthly housing payments through Bilt. All Bilt members can also earn Daily Rewards through purchases at neighborhood partners with a $5 purchase minimum.
Bilt Cardholders will continue to earn points on housing payments made with their card beyond January 15, 2027, and those housing payments can trigger a Daily Reward. The same applies to Bilt members who pay their rent through a partner card.

Daily Rewards is a new way of earning points through Bilt Rewards by participating in qualifying actions, which are (1) making a purchase at an eligible neighborhood partner or (2) an on-time housing payment (more on both of these below).
Once earned, two options are revealed in the Bilt app to choose from. Those options can include:
Instant prizes: Bilt Points, Bilt Cash and neighborhood credits; or
Collectible pieces: A set consists of four collectible pieces associated with a particular prize, and you need all four pieces belonging to that set to complete it.
The two options can appear in any combination. As an illustrative example, you might choose between Bilt Points and Bilt Cash, between Bilt Points and a collectible, or between collectibles for two different grand prizes. Bilt hasn’t confirmed these specific pairings but mentions that the two options may appear in “any combination.”
Members have 30 days after Bilt recognizes the qualifying activity to reveal the two options.
You need to complete one of the two “qualifying actions” to unlock a Daily Reward:
Spend at least $5 at a participating neighborhood partner: We anticipate eligible partners to include Bilt Neighborhood dining restaurants, some fitness studios, and Walgreens. Bilt hasn’t released the full Daily Rewards terms yet, so it’s unclear whether the neighborhood partners listed under Neighborhood Benefits™ in the Bilt app will qualify or whether Daily Rewards will get its own partner section.
Make an on-time rent or mortgage payment through Bilt: A housing payment through Bilt can also earn you a Daily Reward. Housing rewards eligible for Daily Rewards are limited to once every 25 days, so split rent payments won’t earn extra.
Bilt members can earn one reward for each of the first “qualifying action” each day, meaning you can’t earn additional Daily Rewards by making multiple purchases with neighborhood partners. A housing payment can unlock a second bonus reward, so the total number of rewards you can unlock per day is two (and only on the day you make your housing payment).
Besides the instant prizes which can include Bilt Points, Bilt Cash, and credits at neighborhood partners, Bilt advertises these grand prizes:
$1 million toward a home.
One year of rent or mortgage payments.
10 million Bilt Points.
A getaway.
A year of Lyft rides, capped at $5,000.
Note that to unlock a chance to win any of these grand prizes, you need to complete a set of four collectibles. Collect all 4 pieces of a set to win the associated grand prize (so it seems like every grand prize will have its own set of collectibles, kind of like those Monopoly/McDonalds games back in the day).
We view grand prizes like lotteries. Bilt has yet to disclose piece quantities, relative rarity or the total number of winners. Without those details, it’s difficult to calculate expected value.
The yearly reset limitation can also hurt the casual user. Collectible progress resets at the end of a calendar year, and 2027 pieces won’t carry into 2028.

Daily Rewards looks most appealing as an “additional reward” on spending you already planned with neighborhood partners. For Bilt Cardholders who’ll continue earning points on housing payments beyond January 15, 2027 and Bilt members who regularly spend at neighborhood partners, it could offer useful rewards with a little extra app upkeep.
The trade-off is less appealing for Bilt Rewards members without a Bilt Card whose predictable housing points will be replaced. For these members who prefer a small but consistent reward with housing payments who don’t want to track rewards options or collectibles, Daily Rewards could feel like a downgrade.

For members without a Bilt card, Rent payments made before January 15, 2027 follow the current terms: up to 250 points per monthly housing payment. After January 15, 2027, members without a Bilt Card will earn a Daily Reward instead.
Remember: you unlock a Daily Reward once you make a qualifying housing payment. Bilt says this “You will earn a daily reward in lieu of your guaranteed Bilt Points. The only way to earn points on every rent and mortgage payment is with one of our Bilt Cards.”
