What’s everything you need to do for your Chase Sapphire Reserve® before the end of the year 2025?

TLDR; The Chase Sapphire Reserve® has $550+ in credits on the card that are expiring at the end of the calendar 2025 year.

With the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you get a plethora of credits that come with a $795 annual fee. That’s why it’s so important to maximize the use of these credits everyday, every month and annually.

What’s the $500 Edit credit on the Chase Sapphire Reserve®?

If you are a Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholder, you have access to The Edit which is Chase’s premium collection of more than 1,000 hotels across the world that you can book on Chase Travel.

And when you stay at an Edit hotel, you get some cool perks. You’ll get daily breakfast for 2, a $100 property credit, a room upgrade (if available), a welcome amenity and early check-in and late check-out (if available). The other credits are pretty self-explanatory but I think it’s worth explaining the $100 property credit. The $100 property credit can go to things like the hotel restaurant or paid services at the hotel like a massage or spa treatment.

Not only do you have access to this collection of hotels but you also have credits. For this year, you have one $250 credit that can be used on a stay that is 2 nights or more at an Edit property. To be clear, you just have to book the hotel before the end of the year—you don’t have to stay at an Edit property before the new year.

The common issue with the Edit credit is that the prices for some of these hotel stays are quite exorbitant. In those cases, I’d say just skip using the credit—don’t feel like you HAVE to use it. However, there are opportunities to save money when using the Edit credit.

When the price for a 2 night+ stay is lower than $1,000 that’s when the savings really come in. Especially with Chase’s point boost feature for Edit hotels. Unfortunately, Chase just secretly nerfed the Points Boost feature for Edit hotels. Just a few days ago, the Points Boost would give you 2 CPP value when booking Edit hotels and now it's 1.65 CPP for some hotels and others still have 2 CPP. The idea here would be to use a certain amount of your Edit booking with cash and some with points. For instance, you could pay with $250 in cash (cancelled out by Edit credit) and then the other $250 with points.

Next year, you will get two $250 credits for Edit hotel bookings that can be used anytime in 2026—two night minimum still required.

What’s the $300 Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables credit?

Until the end of this year, you’ll have a chance to get up to $150 in statement credits when you dine at restaurants part of the Sapphire Exclusive Tables program. You can see all the eligible Opentable restaurants using our map tool.

All you have to do is go to one of the restaurants that are part of the Sapphire Exclusive Tables program and pay the bill with your Chase Sapphire Reserve®. No reservation, no special time slot bookings required—just pay the bill with your Reserve. There’s currently over 400 total restaurants part of the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program across the United States.

Next year, you will get two $150 dining credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants—one for January through June 2026 and other for July through December 2026.

What’s the $300 StubHub credit on the Chase Sapphire Reserve®?

The StubHub credit is an awesome benefit on the Chase Sapphire Reserve®. For 2025, you have a $150 credit that can be used on Stubhub purchases. It can be used on events like concerts, sporting events or a play. I used my StubHub credit on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® for a Bruins game early next year. That’s the other nice thing about this credit—you don’t have to use it for an event this year. You just need to buy the tickets before the end of this year.

The $150 credit will expire at the end of this year so make sure you use it soon if you haven’t already!

Next year, you will get two $150 StubHub credits—one for January through June 2026 and other for July through December 2026.

What are the DoorDash credits on the Chase Sapphire Reserve®?

Every month, you have DoorDash credits to use on your Chase Sapphire Reserve®. You get two $10 off coupons on non-restaurant orders. And then you’ll get $5 off one restaurant order. The $10 off non-restaurant orders have been particularly nice for me. I like to use the coupons to finish my grocery list if I forget something at the store. Or I’ll use it to postpone my grocery trip one more day and get some things in the meantime. Don’t forget to use the credits for the month of December!

These credits are also use it or lose it, meaning they do not rollover or stack in any capacity.

Do I have to use the $300 annual travel credit on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® before the end of the year?

Nope, the $300 annual travel credit on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® expires each account anniversary year. Not every calendar year.

Just make sure to check when your Chase Sapphire Reserve's anniversary year is!

Final Remarks

The Chase Sapphire Reserve® has quite the extensive list of credits. It’s important to use most if not all of the credits in order to get the best possible value out of your $795 annual fee. Personally, I use all of the credits except the Peloton credits. Don’t forget to use the StubHub, dining and Edit credits before the end of the year. If you can’t find a good deal for The Edit, don’t stress out too much about it. It’s a luxury hotel collection that is catered to folks who are well off and have plenty of money to spend.
